Winchester Model 1887
The first successful repeating shotgun. Designed by John Browning when Winchester rejected his suggestion of a pump action shotgun (which they’d later build in 1897) on the grounds of brand recognition. Winchester felt as they were known for their lever action repeating rifles a similar system would sell better. Its fed from a 5 round tube magazine under the barrel. It’s perhaps most recognisable as the shotgun used by Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 2.
